Christmas Carol Service at Wikon

An English Christmas Carol Service in English will be held for the 12th time on Wednesday, 14th December 2011 at 8 p.m., at the Bruder Klaus-Kirche Wikon.

This year we are planning additionally a choral singing. Everyone is welcome to join the chorus-group to practise some beautiful carols for mixed voices. Anna Merz will be in charge of chorus-practice on Wednesdays, from 19:30 to 21:30 in the BZZ (Mehrzweckraum). The first choir practice will take place on 19th October 2011. The service will be held by Pfarrer Burkhard Kremer, Zofingen. Organ-accompaniment by Dr. Franz Burkart, as he has done in the past years. After the service, which will lastfor about 1 hour, tea, coffee and cakes will be served in the Pfarreisaal. Entrance free - Offering. Christmas Carol Service in Wikon

Am Mittwoch, 14. Dezember 2011, um 20 Uhr findet zum 12. Mal ein “English Christmas Carol Service” in der Bruder-Klaus-Kirche Wikon statt. Der Gottesdienst wird in englischer Sprache durchgeführt, aber auch Nicht-Englischsprechende sind herzlich willkommen. In England wird in der Weihnachtszeit immer viel gesungen, in der Kirche und auch zu Hause.

Neu ist für dieses Jahr ein Chorsingen geplant. Jedermann und Jedefrau ist herzlich zum Mitsingen von ein paar mehrstimmigen wunderschönen Carols eingeladen, geprobt wird unter der Leitung von Anna Merz jeweils am Mittwoch, von 19:30 – 21:30 Uhr im Mehrzweckraum des BZZ. Pfarrer Burkhard Kremer aus Zofingen wird den Gottesdienst leiten und Dr. Franz Burkart begleitet an der Orgel.
